A 20 LCD Is A Nice Size For A Child’s Room

In this day and age, most children have television sets in their bedrooms. Some children have the old black and white set that used to be in the family room, but others have a 20 LCD. This isn’t necessarily because they are spoiled. This may be due to some of the programming that is broadcast on prime time television these days. There are some programs that are geared toward adults rather than children, and if parents enjoy these programs, they may want their children to watch television in their own rooms rather than in the family room.

A 20 LCD is a nice size for a child’s room. Some people would say that kids don’t need television sets of this proportion. Others would disagree. My children have that very size in their rooms. They have video game consoles, and they have them connected to the televisions in their rooms. When I am watching my favorite television program, or a movie, I don’t have to begrudge the kids of their favorite television programs, and I don’t have to worry about them bugging me while they wait to play their video games on the family room set.

Children are very appreciative when they receive a 20 LCD for Christmas or their birthday. My children were very happy when they received theirs. They know that television is a privilege and not a right, so they work hard to earn their television privileges. They are always on the honor roll, they participate in extracurricular activities, and they do chores around the house. My children know that homework comes first, before television programs or video games. Just in case, I purchased locks for the televisions. My husband and I hold the keys to the locks. The televisions plug into the locks, and the locks plug into the electrical outlet. The televisions are locked at bedtime, and they are not unlocked until the kids have all of their homework and chores done. With the locks, I can monitor the amount of time that is spent watching the tube or gaming, and I can be sure that the kids are not watching television or playing video games until their other responsibilities have been taken care of first.
